Peace of Mind Month 2020

After a fantastic launch last year, Simple Life’s Peace of Mind Month 2020 has come at a time when we needed some more positivity most.

Being one of our core values, Peace of Mind is at the heart of what we aim to achieve and throughout April we bring it right to the forefront, supporting residents in a different way with happier, engaging and entertaining content.

The main Peace of Mind competition is even more poignant this year, with residents encouraged to nominate a loved one to win both a spa day for 2, and a bespoke prize which they can suggest to be perfect and unique to them. Within the first 24 hours of launching the competition, we received nearly 50 entries – nominees have varied from neighbours who have helped out, to mums just being lovely, to key workers going the extra mile during this tough time. All are extremely deserving and it’ll be a tough decision to narrow it down to just a few.

Alongside this competition, we have for the first time launched a Health and Wellbeing series, where professionals, partners and residents alike share skills and talents in interesting and interactive videos, encouraging residents to get involved in a range of different themes.

Starting off with meditation and mind-set, it was the perfect opportunity to launch the series and a month dedicated to positivity and encouraging peace of mind. Our two videos were hosted by fantastic professionals in coaching and meditation, and set the tone.

Over the following 6 weeks, we will be seeing content from Pilates instructors, dance teachers, as well as incredible residents including a make-up artist, a baker and a wellbeing coach. All videos are being hosted on playlists on both Facebook and YouTube, available to view for as long as you like. We’re keeping the interaction going in between videos too, with inspiration quotes and opportunities to show off your own homes, photos and skills throughout the series.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our residents for being so patient – we know it’s been tough so far with more uncertainty to come, but it’s been wonderful to see everyone engaging with some positivity which we hope will continue throughout April and the weeks to come.
