Lynn-Marie & Ben are a young couple who were looking to find a place to call home, when they found Simple Life. Impressed by the quality of the houses and customer service they are now in their second Simple Life home as they were eager to stay with us when it was time to relocate.
Meet Lynn-Marie & Ben…
Ben and Lynn-Marie first fell in love with Simple Life homes when they were living in Our Lady’s. The opportunity came to move into the same property type in Hamilton Square, Atherton and now they couldn’t be happier, living with their little dog Max.
They loved the location and knew straight away that Simple Life homes would perfectly suit their needs; “The area of Atherton is great, it’s half an hour from everywhere we want including the centre of Manchester, it’s often hard to find rented homes that are newbuilds, but these properties are like a blank canvas for you to make your own.”
After struggling to find a rental property which allow pets, they were delighted to learn that their home was pet friendly with no extra charge. “Simple Life stood out for us because they allow you to have dogs – this was a driving factor for us, we love that Simple Life recognizes pets as family and Max loves being on this estate”
Their favourite part of the home is the whole ground floor which includes a kitchen/diner and airy living room, they find the layout ideal for relaxing and entertaining. “Throughout the day we get so much light through the house. With the downstairs being open-plan, it’s really good for hosting friends and relatives, it feels like such an an enjoyable place to build a family in”
As young professionals with busy lives they’ve appreciated how reliable the customer care team is, especially impressed with how easy communication has been throughout their tenancy; “Simple Life is really quick to respond, if you have any issues, they’ll send someone out straight away. It’s not often that we have any problems but when there have been they’ve always been really on it. Their maintenance reporting system, FixFlo allows you to contact someone regarding maintenance issues at any time, and have the problem solved efficiently. We’ve had a brilliant experience so far.”
Living in a community-focused environment has been hugely positive for the pair and they feel the Simple Life events and initiatives have significantly contributed to that; “We enjoyed having the opportunity to meet new people which can become rare as you get older and your lifestyle gets busier; we found the Health & Wellbeing series particularly inspiring during lockdown”
Lynn-Marie & Ben feel truly settled in their home, they mentioned “it doesn’t even feel like we’re renting” as they’ve been able to really make it theirs. Now they’ve been in two Simple Life properties, they feel like they have found the right home with the right landlord. “We’ve rented numerous times before, but Simple Life raises the bar in every way. We couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. We’d never consider renting from anyone else now. If we ever wanted to move from Atherton; we’d go to another Simple Life home in a heartbeat.”
