2020 sees Simple Life's 3rd donation to the equestrian enterprise, including a further sponsorship of pony Moses.
The equestrian centre which is based in Liverpool, aims to inspire a new generation of young riders. During our first year of supporting the centre, the organisation was able to facilitate its first school partnership with Monksdown Primary School in Norris Green. Each year, Simple Life’s donation sponsors pony Moses and also covers the cost the riding lessons for one full school year for Monksdown school children. This has made riding lessons more affordable and accessible for children living in urban areas. The centre has now successfully partnered with five more schools.
The benefits of having ‘outside the classroom’ activities such as riding and creating relationships with animals has been proven to help children to have more focus in the classroom, and can help them learn key life skills such as responsibility, leadership, patience, empathy, compassion and self-control, as well as helping children to develop self-esteem and can help with anxiety.
Keith Hackett from Park Palace Ponies said: “Once again Park Palace Ponies is hugely grateful for the pony sponsorship that Simple Life has provided. The company’s generosity has continued to helped us make learning to ride affordable for children from across Liverpool and we cannot thank them enough.”
Park Palace Ponies and Monksdown Primary School are both based in Merseyside, where Simple Life has a total of 561 properties for rent.
