Great things often start small. A coffee, a chat, an open door. Before you know it, you're on an unexpected journey.
That's exactly what happened recently. A casual catch-up with Edinburgh Giants turned into something much bigger: an introduction to one of the charities supported by Sigma Capital Group.

The chat began simply enough, over coffee. But it soon turned to the charities Sigma Capital Group proudly supports. These are organisations doing incredible work. They also create unforgettable experiences for the people they serve.
One name came up: Speed of Sight. This charity runs adaptive motorsport track days at Driftland, Lochgelly. So, the website was shared on the spot. As a result, by the end of the day, Edinburgh Giants member Olivia had signed up.
Olivia headed along not quite knowing what to expect. However, she came away with a brand new favourite story to tell.
“I had a blast at the Speed of Sight event. It’s something I’ve never done or experienced before, so it was great to be able to try something new. I’ve been telling all my teammates back at Edinburgh Giants about it, and I’m sure we’ll have a few more along to the next one!”
This is what conversations driving impact really looks like. First, an informal chat. Then, a genuine connection. Finally, a new experience and a charity partnership that keeps giving back.
In short, saying yes to a coffee and a chat can open doors you never expected. That’s true for you, for your team, and for the causes you care about.
Want to get involved with Speed of Sight? Or perhaps you’d like to learn more about the charities Sigma Capital Group supports? Either way, get in touch to find out how you can be part of the next story.
