We have partnered with one of our residents, James Lomax, founder of mobile escape rooms, Clever Cogz, to launch the ‘Escape with Simple Life’ Roadshow. Funded entirely by Simple Life, the mobile escape rooms are travelling across the country to 8 schools throughout November and December, allowing Simple Life residents and local schools to experience Clever Cogz.

Stationed in the grounds of school yards near to its developments on Fridays and Saturdays or Sunday and Mondays, groups of Simple Life residents will be tasked with escaping the various themed rooms in groups of eight at the weekend then on the week days, groups of year four to year six school children will have access to the exercises, which promote the importance of mental health, wellbeing, team building and important everyday life skills, as well as having a lot of fun.

Speaking about the event, Niamh Waldron, ESG Director at Simple Life, said: “We are acutely aware of the impact the pandemic has had on general health and wellbeing, and with over 4,400 homes across the country we were keen to do something for our residents and the local community to support recovery. Our roadshow offers an opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled interactive experience with a focus on wellbeing, in school and close to home! It is super to see our idea take physical shape and we are excited to get underway. We really hope everyone has fun and gains something positive from the experience.”

James Lomax, founder of Clever Cogz, said: “Since launching Clever Cogz, we have been thrilled to have already partnered with many schools up and down the country delivering inspiring and immersive learning experiences and we’re really excited to be making new schools connections through Simple Life Homes. It is great to see brands like Simple Life wanting to go above and beyond for their customers, and really engaging with the wider communities. I am glad to be part of such a well-regarded and wholesome brand and provide my services for all to benefit from.”

Residents and pupils alike will find themselves in a cargo plane crash, landing in the Amazon rainforest where they will need to find the Lost Temple and collect all the wellness crystals to escape to safety!

The roadshow kicked off at St Theresa’s Primary School in Sheffield on November 7th and provided pupils and residents across five Simple Life developments in Sheffield and Doncaster with the Clever Cogz experience. Residents can check their emails for more info of how to book their FREE slots for upcoming weekends, where we’ll be visiting Rainham, Walthamstow, Bury St Edmunds, Bilston, St Helens, Chadderton and Salford.
