The importance of supporting local charities and groups continues to be a key focus for us, with the lead for such support coming from our residents and the wider community. We decided to make LOCAL an important focus point, recognising that smaller charities can find fundraising and accessing funding a real challenge. There are so many people and small groups putting people first and making a very real difference in our communities, and donations enable continued support in so many ways. We enjoy connecting with a wide range of charities, and building long-lasting partnerships with some.

12 days of xmas

Given the incredible list of nominations and desire by so many to recognise and support the work being done in our communities our 12 Days of Christmas was doubled in 2023. It has been humbling to speak with, and visit some of, the 24 charities selected to receive £1000. The following charities all received a £1000 donation and we look forward to connecting and learning more about the wonderful work they are doing for others.
