Simple Life Ice Cream Dash 2018
As a final hurrah for the summer, the Simple Life team travelled across several of our completed developments and handed out free ice cream tubs to everyone who was enjoying the last week of the holidays.
We visited sites in Greater Manchester, Merseyside and the West Midlands, letting tenants know via flyers, emails and SMS campaigns, and walked the developments with our branded trays. Loads of you came out to meet us and in fact many kids were waiting for our arrival! But those who weren’t out and about didn’t miss out as we went door to door to ensure everyone got a treat or two to enjoy.
The dash in numbers:
- 8 developments (including a surprise last-minute visit to Our Lady’s)
- 3 flavours
- 1 industrial freezer
- 1000+ ice cream tubs hand delivered
- 137.5 miles driven
- 8 ‘test’ tubs sampled by the team
- 2 escaped dogs
Thanks to everyone who came out to greet us or took part – we were lucky with some last minute sunshine, and it was great to see so many happy tenants! Hopefully everyone was still able to eat their dinners too…
