The Simple Life team recently had the wonderful opportunity to visit more of our amazing residents. We made our way to Telford to meet Nichola and her lovely family, and we're excited to share a glimpse of their beautiful home with you!

Meet the family:

Nichola, James, and Lavana are a wonderful family living in a Simple Life home in Telford. When we rang their doorbell, they greeted us with warm smiles and welcomed us in with open arms.

Upon entering their Simple Life home, we were immediately struck by the beautiful decor, with wedding and holiday memorabilia thoughtfully placed throughout. Lavana’s impressive toy corner adds a playful, personal touch, making the house feel warm and lived-in.

What’s your favourite room in the house?

“The living room because that’s where we wind down at the end of the day, watch our Netflix” – and it’s easy to see why that’s their relaxation zone!

We followed them into their “nice and light” kitchen, the open plan kitchen and dining area overlooking the back garden is a beautiful spot.

Do you guys entertain much?

“We’ve had Lavana’s third birthday party, all of our family came round, we all had dinner at the table” and James confirmed that “it’s a good social space, isn’t it, for when we’ve got guests and family round”.

Let’s go upstairs!

As we headed upstairs with the family, we found ourselves in the master bedroom. Nichola shared that what she loves most about the space is the abundance of windows, which flood the room with natural light and offer a stunning view. It was this feature that drew them to the house when they decided to rent!

Lavana proudly led us into her little haven, a room adorned with pink flowers and an impressive toy collection—truly a young girl’s dream! Nichola mentioned this is where Lavana often gets up to her playful mischief. To top it off, Lavana treated us to “ice cream” from her very own ice cream cart!

customer testimonial nichola telford We took a walk around their neighbourhood, where Nichola shared how much Lavana loves the yearly free ice cream and Santa visits, and how the development has a real sense of community.
