During 2019, we’re proud to be supporting four local foodbanks with monthly financial donations across 5 months each. These charities work tirelessly to help those who need it most, and we want to recognise the effort they put in as well as enable them to continue to benefit their wider neighbourhoods.
The Big Help Project Knowsley
With clear aims to feed the hungry, overcome poverty and assist people on to a better future, The Big Help Project is a Knowsley based charity whose foodbank relies on 55 tonnes of food every year.
Atherton & Leigh Foodbank
Set up in 2013, the Atherton & Leigh Foodbank has provides nearly 50,000 meals each year, supporting the 1 in 4 people who live below the poverty line.
Coventry Foodbank
With a foodbank open 7 days a week throughout Coventry, they fed just under 22,000 clients in 2018 and are looking to continue to grow and support those in need within their city.
The Well Wolverhampton
Aiming to meet the practical needs of the city, The Well visits 100 homes every week with their delivery drivers handing out food parcels to families and individuals.
