We are pleased to announce the expansion of our build-to-rent portfolio into London, with the acquisition of two development sites in Havering and Barking. This first venture is expected to mark the start of greater activity over the coming year.


We have acquired an 80-unit development site at Beam Park, part of a £1billion regeneration project underway across the London Boroughs of Havering and Barking & Dagenham, on land released by the Greater London Authority as part of the GLA’s plans for new London homes.
We have also acquired a 77-unit development site at Fresh Wharf, a major riverside scheme close to Barking Town centre.
These properties will be marketed under an expanded Simple Life brand, which we are expecting to launch in early 2020, with its own identity but still being very much part of the Simple Life family and values.
This move into London follows a further partnership secured for development in Scotland, where we are expecting to begin delivering new homes across Scotland’s major cities including Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. These sites will be under the main Simple Life brand and more information will be released in due course.
We’re very excited to be venturing further afield, and will continue to provide our customers with more information as soon as it’s available including the official release of the new London brand.
