1. CONTACT A SIMPLE LIFE AGENT

Picked your ideal location? Give the agent a call to discuss plot availability and secure your name against a property.

In some cases, properties will be available to reserve even before they’re completely built! This ensures you won’t miss out and will be able to move in as soon as the property is ready.

To help you make your decision, we provide you with as many photos, CGI images, descriptions and spec boards as possible to help you get a feel for our homes.

2. APPLICATION

Once you’ve picked the perfect property, you want to make sure you can become a tenant. We look for a total income of at least 30 times the monthly rental amount. Some other factors are taken into account and we will be happy to discuss these with you.

We are happy to consider applicants with a range of income including*:

  • Self-employed or zero-hour contract workers
  • Universal credit or benefit recipients
  • Students (paying 12 months up front) with a guarantor
  • Independent means
  • Retirees
  • Oversees applicants

3. PROVIDE YOUR REFERENCES

We’ll carry out secure online referencing, which will then help us secure your property following receipt of a holding deposit. This process, handled by our external referencing provider, can typically take 2-14 days depending on speed of documentation provision.

4. CONFIRM YOUR TENANCY

Our tenancies typically start on a 12 month minimum term, but we love to provide homes for as long as our residents require. Speak to our team when you’re ready to renew to discuss your options.
